What is the dress code?

To honor the occasion, we request that our guests adhere to a black-tie dress code. For Gentlemen: A tuxedo, black bow tie, black formal shoes, and a white dress shirt. For Ladies: A floor-length evening gown or an elegant midi-length dress.

Can we take photos during the wedding?

Please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony; we’d like for everyone to be “unplugged.” We look forward to seeing your photos from the reception!

Are there hotel room blocks reserved?

We recommend booking early, as accommodations can fill up quickly. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need help finding a place to stay!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Ceremony: The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, 120 Broad St, Charleston, SC 29401.

Reception: The Gibbes Museum of Art, 135 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?

We will provide transportation at the end of the reception back to checkpoints in Downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant. Please look out for updates to the “Travel & Stay” page.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be indoors at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. We will have a tented outdoor reception at The Gibbes Museum of Art, rain or shine.

Can I bring my children?

We love your little ones, but we kindly request that you leave them at home.

What time should I arrive at your wedding?

For those who are joining us for the ceremony, we ask that you arrive by 1:30 at the latest. For the reception, please join us at 5:30.

What should we do in the time between the ceremony and reception?
